Siesta in the sun
SIESTA IN THE SUN was inspired by a photograph I took when I lived in Greece.
Next to my tiny, tumbledown shack was a plot of land on which grew tall grasses and the most beautiful wild flowers. The two cats were feral and were nestled together enjoying the heat of the afternoon sun. There were bees buzzing, flowers bobbing in the breeze and not a human being in sight except for me. It was very beautiful and I will carry that memory inside me for ever.
It was not until I got home and loaded the photograph on my computer that I realized that the two cats laying together were making a heart shape. An enchanting opportunity that just had to be painted. SIESTA IN THE SUN can be bought as a Greetings Card or as a mounted print.

This painting can be bought in greetings cards, unmounted pictures, or mounted frames. I have a collection of beige, red or light green frames so you will need to contact me to ask what colour. Some of my paintings also can be bought as a tea towel. Please see the drop down menu when you go to buy.

Delivery is free for all orders over £10 and orders will be despatched by Royal Mail Second Class.
Orders under £10
All orders under £10 will be sent Royal Mail First Class costing £1.95.
Orders received before 1.pm Monday - Friday will be posted the next day. Orders received after Friday 1.pm and over the weekend will be posted on Monday morning.
